Initial Lactation Consult

• Discussion about your goals, questions, concerns, and expectations as it pertains to feeding your baby
• Thorough review of health history for both mom and baby, thorough infant exam, including oral exam to assess for tension and ties
• Feeding assessment/evaluation at breast and/or with bottle, counseling provided throughout session
• Weighted feed with each consult to ensure adequate milk transfer
• Individualized care plan shared with family
• Lactation report will be shared with provider(s) if applicable
• Includes 1 week of follow-up via secure messaging portal

FollowUp Lactation Consult

• Discussion about progress toward your feeding goals and thorough follow-up related to concerns addressed at initial visit
• Physical assessment of mom and/or infant if any changes since initial consult

• Weighted feed with each consult
• Individualized care plan will be shared with family
• Lactation report will be shared with provider(s) if applicable
• Includes 1 week of follow-up via secure messaging portal

• If you feel comfortable with using your breast pump, but just want to ensure proper flange fit, schedule this consult!
• Trial multiple different flange sizes for your specific breast pump
• While most pumps come with 24 & 28mm flanges, the average nipple diameter is 14-16mm
• With proper flange fit, moms report improved comfort, increased milk volume collected, and decreased risk of mastitis and other complications.

• BREASTFEEDING BASICS: Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
• Preparation for the most exciting journey, in a group setting!
• A supportive group education session, offered in-person or virtually.
• This is not your everyday hospital prenatal breastfeeding class.
• Taught by experienced Mom/Baby Nurses and lactation experts.
• Includes thorough education related to prenatal preparation, as well as guidance for the first few days and weeks postpartum, to ensure your breastfeeding journey is off to a great start!
• Hospital bag checklist available to you

• Available as an add-on service for all Latched families, to ensure you are well supported beyond the 1 week of included messaging support.
• You will have daily access to an IBCLC via text, and all texts will be responded to within 24 hours.



$29 per week

• We are very fortunate to have a wide variety of breast pumps and baby carriers in our Latched Lending Library.
• As an add-on service, or stand-alone service, families may rent breast pumps and baby carriers for a small fee.
• This is a 2-week rental period, and can be extended or renewed as needed.
