We support all
feeding plans!
Transforming lactation care
We are a team of inpatient- and outpatient-experienced nurses and lactation consultants, with a passion for providing family-centered feeding support.
We know that you are the expert when it comes to your baby, and it is our absolute priority to ensure that families in our care feel seen and heard. We provide comprehensive care that begins by listening to parents’ very real concerns—we utilize a thorough intake process, and always discuss pregnancy, labor, delivery, initial feeds and progress thus far, to help determine possible root cause for feeding concerns. We assess infant oral structure and function, observe breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping sessions, and work closely with each family to develop of a plan of care that works well for them.
What sets us apart?
As postpartum nurses by background, and IBCLCs in large, high acuity Birth Centers, we have experience with a great array of feeding plans—from the most straightforward to the most complex scenarios in infant feeding care. We appreciate the importance of promoting and encouraging natural, instinctive feeding processes, as well as the necessity of some interventions early on.
This expertise sets us apart from other IBCLCs—in addition to our training in low supply, oversupply, oral ties, bottle refusal, cleft lip/palate, prematurity, allergies, and more. We utilize our expertise in infant feeding to help parents and babies reach their individual goals, and strive to continue our education in all topics, to ensure our recommendations are always the most up-to-date.
A holistic approach
We also know that some situations may require a team effort, and it’s essential for us that our clients receive personalized suggestions for other practitioners in the area if needed. We have curated a thorough list of referral options and work closely with our clients to help connect them with other vetted resources for any needs beyond our expert lactation support.
These resources include mental health practitioners, physicians, chiropractors, craniosacral therapists, physical therapists, pediatric dentists, ENTs, breastfeeding medicine specialists, speech therapists, and more.
