Hi! I’m Jackie–lactation consultant, postpartum nurse, wife, and breastfeeding mama to two sweet babies. I’ve had the pleasure of supporting moms & babies in my role as a postpartum nurse for over 7 years.  Supporting families after welcoming a new baby (or two or three!) has always been my dream, and the ultimate reason I decided to follow a career in nursing. After having my first daughter and experiencing my own new and challenging—but incredibly rewarding—breastfeeding journey, my heart was set on helping others experience the feeding journey they so deeply want and deserve.

This desire led me to helping families in a more lactation-specific capacity as a lactation counselor in a large birth center.  I obtained my certification in 2018 and have continued to followed my heart—which always leads me further down the path of breastfeeding and family support—to my most recent lactation consultant (IBCLC) certification in 2020. I had my second daughter soon after, and have quickly realized no two breastfeeding journeys are the same.

I appreciate that each baby is unique, and that each family has different abilities and expectations when it comes to feeding their babies. It is my hope to empower you with evidence-based support that allows us to work together to create the most comfortable feeding choice for mom and baby, and to provide a welcoming environment that encourages you to freely ask questions and address concerns along the way.  I currently live in the Lake Country area with my husband, two young daughters and a super snuggly White German Shepherd. In my free time, I enjoy reading, Pink Drinks, wearing all the babies, and a good yoga class. I look forward to meeting you and am incredibly thankful you’ve chosen me to support your family during this important time!
